Privacy Policy

Last updated: 22 June 2026

Ardo is an interval workout timer for iOS. We built it to be private by design. This policy explains what happens to your data — the short version is: it stays on your device.

No account, no tracking

Ardo has no sign-up and no login. We do not run analytics, advertising SDKs or third-party trackers. We do not collect your name, email, location or any personal identifiers, and we have no servers that receive your activity.

Data on your device

Your workouts, sessions, history, achievements, reminders and settings are stored locally on your device only. They are included in your encrypted device backup (iCloud or iTunes) if you have backups enabled — that backup is controlled by Apple and your iCloud account, not by us. Deleting the app removes this data.

Purchases

Ardo Pro is a one-time in-app purchase processed by Apple and verified through RevenueCat, which manages the purchase entitlement. These providers process only the information needed to complete and restore your purchase, under their own privacy policies (apple.com/legal/privacy and revenuecat.com/privacy). We never see your payment details.

Notifications

Workout reminders are scheduled locally on your device using iOS local notifications. They are not sent from a server and contain no personal data. You can turn them off any time in the app or in iOS Settings.

Children

Ardo is a general fitness tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone.

Health disclaimer

Ardo offers general fitness timing and guidance. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. Consult a physician before starting any new exercise program, especially if you have a health condition or injury.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the “last updated” date above.
